Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath (15 month, 7 days old):

Graham headed over to Talina and Laurel’s house today for a PEP play date.
He loves going to Laurel’s house because there is so much open space.  He can run around like a mad man and usually has the time of his life.  Talina had a camera and got some really sweet pictures of Graham and all his buddies with their mommies:

The best part of the play date happened right at the end.  Graham volunteered to be Laurel’s bath buddy to help her get over a fear of the water.  A little background info…
  • Laurel used to love bath time but slipped once and has been terrified of the water ever since.
  • Graham is a huge fan of bath time and splashes and squeals with delight every time he is in the water.
  • Laurel and Graham have been quite flirty with each other and Laurel especially loves looking at Graham’s belly button.
So, Talina and I thought we could coax Laurel into the water with the promise of getting to see Graham’s belly button and then if he was splashing and having a good time, she would forget her fears and do the same.
It was a total success!  They sure look happy to me:

The two of them had a great time and Talina reported that Laurel is now back to her old self and loving bath time!

  2. This is my favorite blog post, of course:-) Thank you mommy Tammy and Graham for saving Laurel's bath time! I know a definition of a true friend is when they are willing to get their jeans wet and then drive back home in it. Well done:-)
