It always brings me joy to watch Graham sleep. I think of him as this little guy that plays his heart out and then knows when it is time to check out (whether for a nap or for the night). There is something so sweet about seeing him wide awake and animated and then watching him (through the monitor) as he lounges about in sleep all night long.
Graham has officially moved to one nap a day. We have a pretty consistent schedule now.
He wakes up around 7:15am. He plays in his crib for about 15 minutes then comes and plays in Mommy and Daddy’s room until 8 when he has breakfast. We are usually out of the house from around 9-11:30 for an activity, and then he comes home to nap. Graham usually naps between 2 and 3.5 hours. When he wakes up, he gets lunch and then another activity. He has dinner around 6:30 and then play until bedtime at 8:30pm.
When our morning activity goes long, he will fall asleep in the car and then let me transfer him to his crib for the remainder of the nap (15 months, 1 day old):
Graham’s bedtime routine consists of a story and lullaby. He is tucked into his sleepsack with a pacifier in each hand and one in his mouth. If we really want to knock him out, he will have a bath with Daddy right before bed.
Sometimes Graham lets us know he is ready for sleep before we finish getting him ready. Aww, what a cutie (15 months, 5 days old):
