Quick visit with Grammy and Grandpa (2 years, 2 months, 14 days old – 2 years, 2 months, 16 days old)

We had a quick visit from Grammy and Grandpa Taub.  Graham was so excited that they were coming and was counting down the days.  At first it was “Grammy and Grandpa are coming in two weeks” and by the end, he had learned his days of the week and would say “Grammy and Grandpa are coming on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, THURSDAY!” 
Graham was asleep when they arrived, so he got a huge surprise when Grammy and Grandpa went into his room to get him when he woke up from his nap. 
Grammy and Grandpa brought recorded books that they read with Graham so he would have their voices on the stories even after they left:

On our one full day with Grammy and Grandpa, Graham took them to all his favorite places. 
We started at the park, where he played ball and showed Grammy and Grandpa how he can now go down the twisty big boy slide:

Next, we were off to the pet store where Graham got to check out the bunnies and birdies and fishies and paused to take a picture in front of the lizards:

The next day, Graham helped Grammy pack by putting things into a plastic bag and helping her zip up her suitcase:

There was just enough time for a final tickle session with Grandpa:

Then, we attempted to set up a group photo.  We can’t see Nick as well as I would have hoped, but I can’t believe we actually got a picture of Graham looking at the camera when it was set to take 10 seconds after I pushed the button:

We ended the visit with some sweet pictures of Grammy and Grandpa giving Graham hugs and kisses, bye bye:

Now instead of saying “Grammy and Grandpa are coming,” Graham says “Grammy and Grandpa drove away.”  It is so cute how long he thinks about his grandparents after a visit :)
