Every weekend, Nick takes Graham to our neighborhood park. He goes on a jog (with Graham in the stroller) and then ends at the park where Graham and Daddy play with Graham’s ball and stomp rocket, and Graham climbs the rock wall and goes down the slides.
Today, Nick thought Graham needed to get out a little more energy, so instead of the stroller jog first, Nick decided to let Graham WALK to the park. In the past when Graham has walked, Nick and Graham go to the park and then I pick them up in the car, but today Graham walked BOTH to and from the park. That is 2 full miles!
Nick said that when Graham got to the park, he plopped down and watched Daddy play with the stomp rocket instead of doing any actual playing himself. He used his entire park time to rest and regain his energy for the walk back. Too cute!
Nick sent me a picture (with the caption “a spent force”) of Graham’s rest at the park before the walk home:
When Graham got home, he proudly let me know that he walked the entire way, except when “Daddy carry me, cross street.”
