Graham is certainly his own person. He knows what he likes and how he feels, even if it doesn’t always make sense to Mommy and Daddy.
He will cry hysterically if he can’t climb onto the couch, but once he is helped up, the first thing he wants to do is prove that he can climb down. He does, but then… repeat step one.
Graham can be terribly unhappy with big tears rolling down his checks with no sign of letting up, but when we sing “If you’re happy and you know it shout hurray,” he can’t help but smile (between cries) and shout “hurray”, at which point he forgets he was ever upset :)
And how about this one… Graham refuses to eat fish fillets, but he will down lots of fish sticks, BUT only if all the breading is removed first so he is only eating the pieces of fish.
I'll hear, "no no, no no" as Graham comes running from the other room, holding the evidence of his no no (a shirt he has pulled from his drawer, an electronic device he is not supposed to have, a tissue from the box, etc.) Guess it doesn't occur to him to avoid the no no in the first place.
Here is a picture of the little dude with his fist stuck in the snack-trapper because it is so important for him to try to take every single cracker out at once that he would rather hold onto them (stuck inside) than let a few go, so he can get them out and eat them:
Whatever floats your boat Graham. You are the boss!
Too funny! Kalista does the same thing with the couch! What is it with these kids? :)
