Graham had his 9 month doctor visit today.
He enjoyed playing with the wall mounted activity center while we waited for the doctor (9 months, 1 day old):
It is always fun to go to the doctor because our pediatrician makes us feel like Graham is the healthiest, most advanced baby he has ever seen. Graham showed off by crawling around the exam room, pulling himself up on things, and babbling to the doctor, so we got A+ marks.
I had the doctor listen to Graham’s chest because of his cold-like symptoms. The doctor said it looked like his runny nose may be a mild cold or simply related to the teething. When he looked in Graham’s ears, one ear was a little pink. The doctor said he would normally not treat such a minor problem, but since Graham will be going on his first plane flight in a few days, we opted to be extra cautious and Graham was prescribed his first dose of antibiotics. Our little champ loves the cherry flavored medicine. Graham is now all up to date with his shots, but Nick and I were advised that we need to get re-vaccinated against the whooping cough.
We ended the visit by getting Graham’s stats…
Height: 29 inches – 75th percentile
Weight: 19 lbs, 9 oz – 34th percentile
Head Size: 18.11 inches – 71st percentile
So, our little dude remains long and lean with an ever growing brain ;)
