Graham had such a fun play date with his friend Rylan today and what made it all the more fun was that it was completely spontaneous and unplanned.
Natalie with baby Rylan and Laurie with baby Penelope came over for our usual morning walk. After the walk, Laurie and Penelope had to leave, but Natalie stayed so we could get in some cool-down exercises. The babies watched us as we did sit-ups, but they got restless, so we brought out a water toy (sans water) to keep them occupied.
Well, one thing led to another and our quick cool-down because an all afternoon play date.
The boys convinced us that the water toy really needed to be filled with water:
Once they were completely soaked and freezing, we realized they just had to have a bath, which led to more play time. Graham’s first bath with a buddy and they both loved playing with the water drums:
Graham showed Rylan all his favorite toys and the play date finally ended with two exhausted boys chilling in the crib:
What a great day! This is what being a kid is all about :)
Man I wish we would have stuck around for that! Of course Penelope in a bath with not one but TWO boys?! What would people think? LOL!
