The Millington Fam: Thanksgiving (11 months old

We headed to Sacramento for the annual, Thanksgiving get-together with my parents and sister’s family. Last year I was VERY pregnant and there had been some concern about traveling so close to my due date, so it was a surreal experience to be back a year later with Graham as such a big boy.

My mom’s office was transformed into Graham’s nursery and Cousin Cameron had fun playing hide and seek with Graham from inside his crib:

We had a wonderful time visiting, relaxing, and enjoying good food:

We opted to order most of the Thanksgiving feast so we didn’t need to spend the entire day in the kitchen. Nick woke up bright and early to participate in the neighborhood Turkey Trot. We all cheered as he ran by:

My dad and Cameron spent the morning playing games by the fire:

My sister, Graham, and I headed to the park. We had a chance to see Nick (back from his run) before we headed out:

My sister went for a walk, while Graham and I played at the park.

Graham loved the swing:

The tunnels, structures, and climbing walls were just the right height:

At Thanksgiving dinner, Graham got to eat all ‘big-people’ food and especially liked the stuffing, mashed potatoes, and turkey! Everyone was all smiles after the big meal:

We also celebrate Hanukkah while we are all together, so Graham got to open lots of presents.

Each night started with lighting the menorah:

Graham loved playing with both his presents and the boxes that his presents came in:

Nick enjoyed a little nap while testing out his gift of the Ultimate Pillow:

We went on an early evening walk and enjoyed the sunset after the festivities:

We had a wonderful time celebrating Graham’s first Thanksgiving and Hanukkah:
