Graham has started kindergarten! He LOVES his teacher and takes every chance he can get to tell people that she is the best teacher in all of Santa Barbara County (note: she won a teacher-of-the-year award). He is making new friends, learning how to read and write, and is showing a true gift for math. His favorite activity in the classroom is playing silent ball (catching a ball while staying silent - last one standing wins) and his favorite activity out of the classroom is playing soccer with his new classmates. He will be starting basketball next week (his first official team) and then will be doing little league t-ball in the spring.
Each kid is the Superstar at school during their birthday week, so Graham will be the Superstar next week when school resumes from Winter Break. As the Superstar, kids bring in a poster board full of pictures, items from home to share throughout the week, a special snack, and parents to talk about what they do for a living. Graham and I selected the pictures for his picture board, so I thought it would be perfect to share them here as well. Graham focused on showcasing his family and some of his favorite activities.
