Graham celebrated his first birthday on January 9th, 2011 with a party at My Gym. We waited until January so all of his best friends would be in town and able to celebrate with him.
The gym was set up with age appropriate activities and Graham and about 20 of his closest buddies had a great time playing.
Welcome big boy Graham, it is your special day:
After a quick morning trip to pick up the cake, we were ready for the party:
We started with some stretching:
One of Graham’s favorite activities came out first. He and his friends enjoyed the bouncy balls hanging from the ceiling:
Graham discovered the ball tank, so the lid was removed and the kids had a blast. Graham even got a chance to practice some of his throwing skills:
The gym was packed with activities the entire time:

When it was time for cake, Graham was wheeled out in his own special car for the big occasion:
We sang happy birthday and let Graham blow out his candles then gave him free reign on a piece of cake. He was tentative at first, and then VERY excited, then a bit shell shocked from the sugar when we finally took his piece of cake away:
Once all the babies were cleaned up, the party ended with a ride in the flying cart:
My Gym took care of everything, so we just loaded Graham and all his presents into the car and took him home for a much needed nap. While Graham slept, Mommy and Daddy sorted through Graham’s loot, so he had lots of presents to play with and even a handmade hat to try on when he woke up:
