Yesterday (G: 3 years, 10 months, 6 days old / C: 14 months, 27 days old)

Just a quick post about our Tuesday.
Each kid had their own special play date!
A few weeks ago, Carter's PEP group (which had stopped meeting about a year ago) started to meet again on a weekly basis and picked a time that worked for us.  Hurray, the house remodel is coming to an end, so Carter and I have time to go to these meetings and he finally is getting some same age friends.
I volunteered to host and Carter had the time of his life sharing his toys and playing with his new friends (Carter is being held by my friend Stephanie, while I take the picture):

The last friend from Carter's play date left at 12:55 and we raced to pick up Graham from preschool by 1.
We usually stay at preschool (sometimes for an hour) and play in their playground before heading home. Chloe (from the class ahead of Graham) also plays in the playground after school so we planned a special play date for Chloe to come to our house right after school instead of having the kids play there.
When I picked up Graham, he asked right away if it was time for his Chloe play date and Chloe danced to her car telling everyone that she had a play date with Graham.
They started with train play:

and then moved to the pool:

It was a chilly 70 degrees out and the pool temp read 66 degrees, but those crazy kids were doing cannon balls off the diving rock and laps across the pool, instead of just staying in the spa, by the end of the play date.
They finished with a quick jumping session on Graham's bed, then we all went outside to wave goodbye to Chloe.
I was excited for a long, peaceful nap session because Graham had stayed up past his normal nap time and Carter hadn't napped at all, but Carter woke up early and Nick took this classic picture of how our little guy felt about missing the end of his nap:

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the day started like this:

Graham, so very, very proud that he showered by himself and then put on his underwear, shorts, and shirt all by himself (backwards shirt and shorts and all)!
